Aluminium is widely employed in the aerospace sector because of its high strength-to-weight ratio.
At RP, we make aluminium tooling but we also CNC machine aluminium. We use high precision 3-axis and 5-axis state-of-the-art Hurco machines. These machines can create incredibly complex contours and shaping in order to produce sophisticated components from CAD design to manufacture.
We have a team of vastly experienced, specialist CAM engineers who can machine from as little as one part. They work to incredibly tight tolerances and specialise in rapid prototyping solutions and low-medium volume production.
We have a dedicated Quality Engineering department who support each project from beginning to end. Each project is supplemented by ISIR assessments and stringent quality testing.
We work to full ISO 9001:2015 accredited standards, and all dimensional reports are conducted using the most modern machinery, software, and technology systems.
We have extensive experience within this sector, having worked previously with such industry leaders as BAE Systems, Airbus, and Airline Components International (ACI).
