Current Vacancies
CNC PROGRAMMER
We are also currently looking to grow our expanding team by recruiting a CNC Programmer.
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for operating either a 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machine to perform a range of milling and turning operations on complex metal and plastic parts.
The successful candidate will be able to set up and operate the CNC machine independently, whilst working to their own initiative to complete the machining of the workpiece.
The candidate will need to be capable of reading and interpreting instructions from CAD design software, and they must also be able to machine components to tight tolerances.
The successful candidate should also have strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and must be professional.
To be considered for this position, applicants must have offline programming experience, as well as 5-axis CNC programming experience. Experience of NCG software is desirable but not essential.
Some of the key competencies for this position include:
Responsibilities:
– Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to produce precision parts
– Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications
– Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
– Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
– Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimise part designs for manufacturing
Experience:
– Previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
– Proficient in programming and operating CNC machines
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
– Good mathematical skills and ability to perform calculations accurately

TOOLMAKER/PATTERNMAKER
We are also looking for a Toolmaker/Patternmaker.
Key requirements include:
– Must have experience of toolmaking and/or patternmaking, and of working within a busy toolroom/pattern shop
– Must be able to use basic toolroom machinery, such as milling machines, surface grinders, and hand tools etc to shape and finish tools.
– Must be able to work with existing team to produce high quality tooling
– Experience in injection mould tools is preferred but not essential
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
The remuneration package for this position is negotiable and is dependent upon experience.
The role is full time, permanent, Monday-Friday only.
