Darren Withers – Owner and Director
Darren is one of RP’s directors and founding members. Darren started out as a Pattern Maker before quickly progressing to the position of director at Michael J. Billingham. It was here where he met Brett Mitchell.
It wasn’t long before the pair decided to create their own company, RP Technologies, which was originally called RP Tooling, alongside their wives, Lisa Withers and Jane Mitchell.
Darren has 40 years of experience of toolmaking, CNC machining and manufacturing. He has overseen the production of over 2000 aluminium tools in 17 years at RP.
Lisa Withers – Owner and Director
Lisa is also one of RP’s directors.
Lisa also has overall responsibility for Human Resource Management here, as well as the company’s financial affairs. Lisa also manages the administration department at RP, and she ensures the general smooth running of the company.
Originally from the world of imports and exports, Lisa is a founding member of RP Technologies and a co-owner alongside her husband, Darren.
Russell Hopkins – General Manager
One of our longest serving employees, Russ became General Manager of RP in Sept 2022.
Russ started with the company back in May 2005 as a Toolmaker. Due to the quality of his work and his conscientious approach, a series of successive promotions followed.
Russ has extensive toolmaking, CNC machining and spark erosion experience. He is used to managing multiple projects at any one time and looks after a dynamic team of highly skilled production professionals.
